About the place:
Our house is situated down a quiet cul-de-sac in Khandallah.
We have a couple of offstreet car parks. One will be available for you! Otherwise we also have plenty of street parking.
5min walk from the Khandallah train station / bus stop (or 3min at a run).
15min walk to Khandallah New World or the Johnsonville Countdowns are 2 stops down the train line.
The house itself has two storeys, and gets plenty of sun. The upstairs is open plan living with a balcony. While down stairs are the 3 bedrooms with a bathroom and an en-suite.
There is also a small yard and a shed for storage.
We have fibre internet (critical in these WFH times)
We have gas tanks for cooking and infinity hot water.
It's a new-ish house (est. early 2000s?), it's well insulated and we have a heat pump that has been keeping the living areas warm in the winter.
About the room:
It's a double sized room with a double wardrobe. It gets lot of light if you're into sunshine.
About us:
We are professional women around our 20s and 30s who work in town.
We are pretty chill. Love cooking (and eating), reading, playing board games, listening to music, singing along to the occasional musical, keeping plants alive, etc.
Hospitality is important to us and we like having the option to use our house to host (small groups, church online, having friends over, etc). With communal and private areas on different levels, it has worked well so far :)
We share utilities and pantry food. The kitchen is pretty well equipped so ideal for someone who loves to cook and bake too. (Or someone who likes to eat).
Key dets:
Rent is $230 pw and Bond is $840
Utilities is $20pw, + $30pw we've been pooling for food and communal supplies.
