We are a group of young professional girls in our late 20s to early 30s who are looking for another girl to join us. Two of us are government workers who are part of The Street Church and one is a advertising professional who is part of the Christ's Commission Fellowship.
The house is a huge cozy 4 bedroom place with an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. There is also an office and two bathrooms. It gets all day sun and has a great deck out back. It has a large lounge/living area and kitchen with enough space for multiple of us to work from home and is perfect for having friends around.
It's in a perfect location: the bus stop is just a few steps away from the front door (less than a 25 minute bus ride to Lambton Quay), the train station is a 5 minute walk away. Khandallah Village is also just a short walk away at the end of the street with everything you may need - cafes, a supermarket, takeaways and an op-shop.
We are a social group who enjoy a good yarn and having people around but are all fairly involved in our communities so are happy to do our own thing too.
The room is a large cozy room upstairs with a double wardrobe as well as an additional cupboard for storage. It also gets lovely afternoon sun. The room is available from 15 April. Rent is $256 and expenses are $20 a week to cover power, internet and shared essentials (cleaning, baking ingredients etc).
