We are a group of young professional girls in our late 20s to early 30s who are looking for another girl to join us. We are government workers who are part of The Street Church and LifePoint.
The house is a huge, cozy 4 bedroom place with an open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area. There is also an office and two bathrooms. It gets all-day sun and has a great deck out back. It has a large lounge/living area and kitchen with enough space for multiple of us to work from home and is perfect for having friends around.
It's in a perfect location: the bus stop is just a few steps away from the front door (less than a 25 minute bus ride to Lambton Quay), the train station is a 5-minute walk away. Khandallah Village is also just a short walk away at the end of the street with everything you may need - cafes, a supermarket, takeaways and an op-shop.
We are a social group who enjoy a good yarn and having people around, but are all fairly involved in our communities so are happy to do our own thing too.
About the room:
- Very spacious: can fit bed of any size, a desk, couch, dresser, and so much more
- Two huge windows, plus one small window (you get so much sun any time it’s out!)
- Only room downstairs
- Comes unfurnished, but purchase of bed, dresser, etc, can be discussed
- Available from 23 September (negotiable)
- Rent is $265 and expenses are $20 a week to cover power, internet, and shared essentials
