This is a tiny self-sufficient house at the back of our property. The property is shared with a family of 2 adults and 2 children (aged 14 and 16). The cabin would suit a student or a young single professional or even a transient worker. Located on Herald Island which is actually an island, but accessible via a causeway. Herald Island is in between Whenuapai and Hobsonville Point. There is a boat ramp and a wharf on the island.
The property is very quiet and surrounded by trees. We also share the property with chickens. If you don't like trees or chickens or children, then this cabin is not right for you. It is also near the Whenuapai air field, so occasionally there are planes that fly by.
Bed and linen shown in images is not included, but almost everything else is if required (within reason). Microwave, jug, toaster, cutlery, cups and plates. Laundry (washer and dryer) is shared with the main house. Includes unlimited wifi, power, gas, water.
Move in costs are 2 weeks board and 2 weeks bond, so $1,400. Board is paid weekly, so tenant is minimum 1 week rent in advance.
