Looking for a flatmate to join 3 young professional Christian males (22, 24, 26) from the end of November onwards. We are a social flat, and have been flatting together for a while. The church we attend is Central Baptist.
Currently we have 2 rooms open, but one of them is likely being filled by a non-Christian acquaintance of ours.
The place is a 2-storey flat on Heretaunga Street, close to the hospital and a short walk from supermarkets and shops. It shares a driveway with 2 other flats, one of which is a Christian flat that goes to Crossroads. Its a friendly little community :)). It has a spacious living room and kitchen/dining area, and 2 bathrooms with showers and baths, though one of them is an ensuite that our non-Christian acquaintance may be taking. The communal areas are fully furnished, and there is plenty of storage throughout the house, and in a non-attached shed. The laundry is more of a cupboard that is located at the back door. There is a small yard area with an outdoor washing line.
The room in question is upstairs. It is spacious, and the sunniest room in the house, with 3 walls of windows, and a cupboard/wardrobe with plenty of space.
The lease is currently active and ends on the 27th of January, at which point we would be renewing our tenancy. The total rent per week is $680, with the downstairs ensuite being $140 a week, and the rest being $135. The flat has two gas heaters, one in the living room, and one in the dining room, as well as an infinity hot water system. The utilities bill averages out at $90 per person a month.
