I only moved into the flat 2 weeks ago. This flat is in North New Brighton. The street is very quiet and I barely hear any road traffic. It's a 10 min walk to the beach, 20 min walk/3min drive to Travis Wetlands or QE2 pools, and also nearby Bottle Lake Forest. It's about a 15 minute drive into the city center. There are also bus stops that are a walkable distance for buses 135, 80 and 60.
Currently I have 2 flatmates (3 bedroom house), but they are both moving out mid-March, and am therefore looking for a flatmate to join me from then onwards (timing is flexible and could be sooner/later). I am ideally only looking for 1 flatmate who would be keen to share the house with me, including using the 3rd bedroom as a shared space/office. I might be open to accepting 2 flatmates for the 2 bedrooms depending on the situation.
The room/s do not come furnished (but are in the pictures). However the rest of the house is furnished (lounge, kitchen, laundry etc). There is still plenty of space to bring your own kitchenware or other furniture etc but I'm more than happy to share. You could pick which bedroom you'd want out of the 2, they are both regular sized and can fit a queen bed. Both rooms have a wardrobe.
There is plenty of parking down the drive or on the road.
Most importantly, I have a dog! Her name is Kaia, and she loves people. So you would have to be willing to have a 4-legged friend around the house. Her pic is attached.
Cost is $230 per week (plus expenses) to share the house with only me, this price would decrease if a 3rd flatmate came along. No bond is required.
