The house is in a quiet no exit street, spectacular bush/tree setting, with loads of birdlife. The living area has a north west aspect so lots of sun, and sunsets. The house is close to Birkenhead shops, the bus stop to the city is at the top of the street, and on ramps to North or South. Birkenhead is a very cool area to live in, with loads of reserves, bush walks, 15 minutes to Takapuna beach, or 15 minutes to the Beachaven wharf, plus the nearby village with cafes, restaurants and the supermarket.
I am the lady owner/occupier and wanting a female flatmate 40s plus, who is working during the day Mon - Fri (sorry, I am not negotiable on that as I work from home, as well as postgrad study and I need the space to myself during the weekdays). Also, I cook at lunch, and so my flatmate would have free reign of the kitchen in the evenings.
Utilities: additional $40 per week
Optional office which is a single room size: additional: $60 per week
Bond: two weeks rent
Share bathroom with shower over bath. There is a bathroom in my work studio downstairs as well. My flatmate would have the upstairs bathroom to themselves in the morning before work as my schedule is different.
Carparking off the road
My faith: I think the nearest label would be evangelical though I have had a broad church experience from Pentecostal, charismatic, and now evangelical, I don't really like categories though, I just believe that the bible is the inerrant Word. I attend church and home group, listen to Christian music, play guitar/sing write Christian songs. I am warm, outgoing, welcoming, occasionally have people around here but not much (I go out to socialise/fellowship.
Looking for someone who loves cats....Flynn is Burmese/Tonkinese, and Phoebe is Ragdoll Burmese - they are indoor cats with the deck :-), no native bird carnage around here. So I am looking for someone who really adores cats and would be a friend to them too. They are very friendly and affectionate, and sleep on my bed.
