We are a group of 3 girls living in Penrose, Auckland. One of us is leaving New Zealand to return home to the UK in June, so we are looking for a flatmate to join our friendly home from the 14th/15th of June.
About us: We are in our early 20s and both attend local churches regularly. We love Jesus and spend a lot of time serving. When we're not doing church things, we love to go op shopping, watch movies, eat good food, and watch sunsets. Our home is a safe, cosy, clean space to relax and socialise. As much as we love hanging out together, we also respect each other's space and alone time.
About you: We're looking for a girl in early-mid 20s, studying or working, who loves God, cleans up after themselves, and is respectful. A good sense of humour is also a plus!
About the house: We are located in Penrose, with easy access to the motorway, supermarkets, Cornwall Park, Sylvia Park, and the city. If you drive, there is space to keep a car on the property. If you use public transport, there are bus stops and railway stations nearby. The house is a spacious three-bedroom with separate dining and living rooms, plus a laundry room with a washer and a dryer. You will not need to bring any kitchen equipment as we have and share everything! But you're welcome to bring anything you would like.
About the room: The room is the biggest in the house and gets lots of natural light. There's good wardrobe space and plenty of options to decorate and arrange things as you want. The furniture can also be left behind if you like so the room can be fully-furnished at no extra cost! Also, if you move in on the 14th or 15th, you won't need to pay rent until the following week, so you get the first week's rent free!
Furniture that can be left behind at your request (and no extra cost): - queen bed (with bedding if you would like) - bedside table - dresser - clothing/shoe rack - desk - laundry hamper - full length mirror - side table/drawers - rug
There is also a canopy currently installed - you're welcome to keep it but if it's not your style then let us know and we can take it down!
If you would like to join a friendly, laugh-filled flat in a great location then please get in touch. We would love to arrange a viewing (virtual if necessary) and answer any questions you may have.
Key points: Central location Car park Possibility of furnished room Great landlord Great next-door neighbour Dairy and bakery just up the road Easy access to public transport Peaceful area
