KIA ORA! Welcome to our lovely Māngere Bridge flat in need of an awesome new flatmate.  

Details: 

  • Move in date June 1st 2025. Get in touch through CANZ or text 022 189 4726 to arrange a viewing.
  • Bond is a very cheap $382.50! To be paid concurrently with the first rent payment. This is repayable once you have moved out.
  • Expenses $25 p/w (however this may need to increase slightly, exact number TBC)
  • Rent and expenses are paid on Wednesdays a week in advance (first rent payment is Wednesday 28th May)

About us: 

  • You'll be living with three flatmates in their mid 20s/early 30s. Two girls, one guy (he is the loveliest).
  • Two of us speak te reo Māori and it would be a huge bonus to find a flatmate who's also keen to kōrero!
  • We are all very independent and have our own full lives, but are friendly with each other in the house, keen for the occasional dinner together, and try to keep on top of regular-ish flat meetings.
  • The vibe of the place is pretty relaxed and quiet, we all have early mornings and respect one another's needs to be able to chill in our home space. That said, friends are very welcome and we occasionally have friends who will stay with us and crash on the couch.
  • We are all Christians, two of us attend a tikanga Māori Anglican Church, and the other goes to Life Church.

About the whare: 

  • This is a spacious and modern living environment equipped with double glazing, soft carpet, blackout curtains, big windows/sliding doors to let in light, and modern kitchen appliances.
  • Open plan kitchen/dining/living area on the top level with plenty of space.
  • Slightly smaller living area with a couple more couches, a small balcony that has a great view over the city and gets a lot of light during the day. This area also has a fireplace for a cosy winter-time!
  • Shared bathroom on the main level (shared between yourself and one other very clean flatmate).
  • Decking around the back of the house with some outdoor furniture, a wonderful space in the summer.
  • Garage storage space downstairs.
  • Heaps of built-in storage in the house itself.
  • Secure parking in our driveway, down the end of a very long driveway so far away from the main road.
  • We have a gate that goes directly from our back deck onto Te Pane o Matahoho, Māngere Mountain! Perfect for easy sunset walks around the maunga.
  • The house is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine. No dryer, but there are plenty of laundromats close by.
