Looking for a flatmate to share my 1950s bach at the Mount. Longterm or medium-term, female or male, single or a married couple. It’s a small house, and more character than modern, but has a cosy holiday feel - with a big backyard, mature fruit trees and a woodburning fire.
We're a 1km walk from the beach, directly back from the Omanu surf club. Bus-stop right outside. The room is medium-sized, fully furnished, with lots of light and storage.
Me: early 50s, working part-time from home and studying. You: ideally you’ll be working fulltime (or at least 9-3), share similar faith values, clean and tidy, happy to share the usual household chores. Any age considered: have had flatmates from 19 to late 50's so far. You'll also be sharing with my one-year-old rescue dog, a lab-rotti cross who barks very loudly at visitors ('Burglars! Murderers!') but is otherwise very chilled around the house. (The cat in the photos is no longer, sadly)
Rent: $250/week includes all bills except power: unlimited wifi, rubbish, water - which we pay for by the cubic metre in Tauranga - and also lawns at present. Both the power and communal supplies, eg detergent, toilet paper etc, are split.
If this sounds like somewhere you’d like to live for a while, write and tell me about about you - detail is good! - and we can go from there.
