I have a bright, comfortable bedroom available for rent. The room can be furnished or left unfurnished to suit your preferences. The home is fully equipped, so you'll have access to all kitchen utensils and a washing machine – everything you need to settle in easily. Unfortunately, I cannot offer you any storage space on the property.
You'll be sharing the space with just one other person (myself + cat), and the bathroom will also be shared between us. Please note, this room is suitable for one occupant only, and unfortunately, it's not available for couples or smokers or overnight stays. Street parking is available, and you'll find a wide range of amenities nearby, including a cinema, a weekly farmers market, church, and major supermarkets. The bus stop is just a two-minute walk away, offering express routes to the city or easy access to Botany. The beautiful beaches in the East and scenic walking tracks are perfect for enjoying the outdoors.
Rent is $275 per week, paid in advance, and this includes reasonable use of power, water, and Wi-Fi. The bond is two weeks’ rent ($550), plus one week’s rent in advance ($275), so your total move-in costs come to $825. Reference checks will be required.
Ideal housemate is Female, someone who is working (outside the home), tidy, respectful, and cleans up after themselves. Ideally, you have shared a flat before, and value consideration for others. A minimum stay of 3–6 months would be ideal.
About me: I work as a Legal Assistant and WFH a couple of days a week. I have an indoor cat (partially blind). I attend church, working in my garden weather permitting, walking for exercise, movies, playing cards with friends and generally keeping well. I prefer a quiet home during the week for work as can be very busy but more flexible in the weekends.
Ideal housemate: Female, christian (but not a deal breaker), respectful, someone who has shared a house before and understands being considerate and trustworthy. Working full-time and can pay their rent on time.
If this sounds like the right fit for you, I'd love to hear from you and answer any questions you might have.
