The flat is located only 5-10 minutes walk to Pak'n Save, Asian supermarket, restaurants, train station/bus stops, and 15 minute drive to the city!
It's a modern house with heatpump/AC, double glazed windows so it's very insulated and warm.
You'll be living with 4 working adults from mid 20's to mid 30's and we go to different churches across central Auckland! We cook dinners for each other once a week to lessen the kitchen traffic, and share meals and time together. So ideally we'd want someone who can participate in shared meals too.
We enjoy some social time together, movies on a large TV with surround sound, board games, but also spend a lot of time by ourselves due to our work schedule. We also have cleaners who come once a fortnight to clean the common spaces which is nice.
The room available is unfurnished with a built-in closet comfortably fits a queen bed/desk (dimensions 3.3m x 3.14m). You'll be sharing a bathroom with two other flatmates, there's another bathroom and separate toilet downstairs which can be used if needed.
Rent is only $165, plus $30 for bills and $13 a week for the cleaners ($208 total, which is pretty cheap!). Bills include fast internet and Netflix. Bond is 3 weeks rent plus 1 week rent in advance.
The flat is situated by train tracks so you will hear the trains pass by from time to time, but the room available is on the opposite side to the tracks so you can't really hear the trains.
Ideal flatmate would be someone clean, tidy, social and also enjoys their own company as well, working professional, and has flatted before.
