We have a lovely medium-sized room becoming available in our wee flat mid-January 2025, and are looking for a fantastic new flattie! The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Māngere Bridge, very close to Ambury Park with a beautiful outlook from the kitchen window. It's close to the motorway, and traffic is usually pretty breezy into the city in the morning.
You would be living with two other flatmates- one 27 year old female who attends St James Māngere Bridge, and one 30 year old male who attends Curate Church. We enjoy having a relaxed & cozy flat where we can come home and relax after a busy day of work, do our own thing or watch a tv show together over a shared gin! We're always open to having a few friends round for a games night or movie, but also appreciate having some quiet nights when needed. We're looking for someone who has a similar vibe, and will pull their weight with keeping the house ship shape (always a fun but necessary caveat to add, haha!) We're open to everyone, just hoping to find someone who has a similar vibe!
Rent is $233 per week plus $25 expenses ($258 all up) - we may be upping expenses a little in the new year if power continues to stay this expenny- eek!
The room has a gorgeous outlook out to Ambury Park & the Manukau Harbour (when the hedge isn't too high!) and has a great double-wardrobe with some shelving. There is some other limited storage in the house. The room comfortably fits a queen-sized bed and other furniture (we're working on getting some furnished pics to give you an idea!) It also gets the afternoon light which is great for warming the room in Winter.
There is a main bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet, and one stand-alone toilet. The kitchen is fantastic too, with a gas hob, oven and dishwasher. We have a lovely sunny backyard and deck for relaxing on the beanbag with a drink in summer, and a small garden box if you have a bit of a green thumb! We're fairly creative/DIY people ourselves, so there's always a fun project on the go too!
If this sounds like a bit of you, give us a bell and let's set up a time to chat! :)
