One room is available now, and one is available from 8th Feb.
Both rooms can fit double beds, current tenants have doubles (pictures are older). Both rooms come with a wardrobe, but will not be furnished. Rent for each room is $175 and no bond is required. There is also a $10 weekly cost for flat expenses. We then third electricity/wifi.
I'm in North New Brighton, a less than 10 min walk to the beach, and 5 min drive to Bottle Lake Forest. Great location if you like your walks or biking. Also really close to QE2 pools/gym. A super quiet friendly neighbourhood too which is so lovely.
Parking in the drive or on the street, lot's of spaces.
There is also a garage if you need space to store anything.
A bit about me: I do attend a church in central Christchurch, I'm a high school teacher, and have a dog. Her name is Kaia (pictured) and is 3, so you would have to not mind living with a dog. Unfortunately no further pets are allowed. I am often out a lot during the work week. I like walks and hikes with my dog, she's super fit - me not as much. I'm a mix between socialising with my friends but also having my down time and binge watching some netflix.
The house is all furnished and has everything you need, you just need to fill your bedroom. However you are more than welcome to bring some furniture in if you'd like - happy to change things around. It has had some upgrades over the last year, brand new heat pump and dishwasher. The house is well insulated and I've never found myself too hot or cold.
